This new 4th-generation model in the vastly successful Aerus series is an improvement over the Yonex Aerus Z model. It is the lightest ever badminton shoe from Yonex, weighing just around 240 grams. Â

The new AERUS Z2Â is both light and stable. The sole is manufactured using Feather Light X, a material that is 12% lighter in weight while generating more repulsion than the previous AERUS models. A key ingredient to stability is a reliable grip. RADIAL BLADE SOLE is implemented to provide the ultimate grip.

FEATHER LIGHT X is Yonexâs lightest midsole material and is one of the key technologies in making the AERUS Z2 lighter while providing smooth, quick footwork.

Seamless Upper
The upper is built with a single primary piece which is a combination of the Durable Skin Light, a strong and lightweight material, and the Double Raschel Mesh, a highly breathable fabric. The two materials are fused together using a vacuum-pressing method which enables the upper to be built with less material.

RADIAL BLADE SOLE
The grip pattern of the sole has been redesigned creating the RADIAL BLADE SOLE. By finely arranging a windmill shape that combines areas with large and small indentations, the weight of the shoe is dispersed, and the grip is improved by approximately 3%*. Resulting in a grip that supports quick dashes and sudden stops.

The AERUS Z features a specially shaped wedge of POWER CUSHION+ in the heel designed specifically to absorb shock associated with the footwork of badminton.
